It's resurrection season and, if you'll excuse the pun, Fremantle got into the spirit of things a week early, going to town on the reigning premiers in what many are calling the defining game of the 2017 season. Most experts are predicting that Fremantle will use that win as a launching pad for the rest of the season and eventually go on to win their first flag. Obviously consistency will play a big part in Fremantle rolling on through to September so the selectors have decided to turn Easter into a 6 day weekend to avoid the temptation of making any changes. Danyle Pearce, Jon Griffin and Matt Taberner get the opportunity to be the emergencies, which should save them having to drive down to Mandurah and play footy on Good Friday so an extra 80 people will get along to a WAFL match.
