It's a sad but historic moment this week, as Matthew Pavlich bludges out of his last game of AFL football, in what is sure to be a memorable afternoon of him not playing football. There will be many Fremantle supporters who struggle to hold back the tears on Saturday, as they reminisce about all the other games Pavlich has bludged out of, from the trip to Tasmania, to the trip to Queensland. His bludging out of plane flights is truly unsurpassed by anyone in the modern era. Joining him in solidarity will be long time team mate and keen bludger, Aaron Sandilands who for some reason played the last two games after recovering from a season ending injury. Ethan Hughes has been dropped, presumably so the selectors could look busy. Cameron Sutcliffe, Matt Taberner and Jonathon Griffin are all back into the team, giving them a chance to become the player dropped for Matthew Pavlich's final game next week.
