Fremantle have dodged a trip to the Gold Coast this weekend, handing over a bag of cash and Lachie Weller to make sure Fremantle got plenty of time at the new stadium before it picks up that West Coast smell they taint everything with. And with WA football supporters flushed with cash and enthusiasm for their teams' prospects, the bottom level is expected to reasonably full. One bloke who will be packed into the stands will be Brad Hill, who unfortunately busted his knee up last week he has been replaced by Tom Sheridan who will now have to give the ticket he bought to a friend. With a resounding win over Essendon last week and the Commonwealth Games opening ceremony on last night, the match committee have decided not to make any other changes.
