Sometime in the 90's, Fremantle's recruiters caught site of a young player from the Gold Coast Suns by the name of Harley Bennell and decided to recruit him. They were very excited to have stolen him out from the Gold Coast but quickly came back to Earth when they found out he had a dodgy calf. Not to be deterred, they scoured the world for the finest homeopaths they could find and now, just twenty years later, Harley will line up for the Dockers (assuming he doesn't park near any North Fremantle brick walls before Sunday) . It's very fortunate for Fremantle too because with Lachie Neale out with an injured knee, they were looking at having to bring out the purple tarpaulins to cover the empty seats. Ryan Nyhuis and Hayden Crozier are also back into the team this week with three players needing to be cut from Nick Suban, Griffin Logue, Cameron Sutcliffe, Joshua Deluca, Shane Kersten, Danyle Pearce and Tommy Sheridan who are languishing on the long bench.
