Fremantle have made it to the part of the season where selection becomes easy. All you have to do is pick the 25 blokes you haven't sent off for an operation. Conner Blakely's arm fell off at some point during the match last week and the sticky tape didn't hold for more than a couple of kicks so he's been sent off to have an operation, where they will presumably use a much higher quality of sticky tape. Sean Darcy has been given the week off because he gets a bit tuckered out by 6 o'clock and the team didn't want to risk him falling asleep midgame and landing on a member of the public. That doesn't mean the crowd can let their guard down though because Danyle Pearce is back in the side after a long stint honing his kicking skills in the WAFL. He's sure to spray a few for old times sake so keep alert. Jon Griffin is also back in the team because Ross Lyon had no other choice - it was either that or play Taberner.
