Fremantle have played a beautiful hand in round one of lowering expectations so they can catch teams unaware before embarking on a three home game run and this week an unsuspecting Essendon look set to fall right into the trap. Some of the Fremantle supporters may have inadvertently been caught in the same trap, so Fremantle have, completely uncynically, wheeled out a couple of new blokes - Adam Cerra and Mitchell Crowden - to try and entice them to hop on a bus to the new stadium and spend some money on food and merch. Stephen Hill and Joel Hamling are also in, after being left out last week as part of the aforementioned attempt to lower expectations. The usual sort of blokes have been dropped to make room - Cameron Sutcliffe, Shane Kersten, Darcy Tucker and Danyle Pearce.
