Ross Lyon has moved quickly to put a lid on things down at Fremantle after the Dockers knocked off top of the table Geelong this afternoon..Just kidding. He's spending his Saturday night doing bog laps down the strip shouting 4 more years out the window. Geelong took the unusual step of taking a midseason holiday in Fremantle this week, soaking up the WA sunshine and relaxing before the hectic weeks ahead organising their Premiership celebrations. Either they took things a little too easy or Fremantle suddenly became the best football team in the league, a week after being declared the worst. Freo were everywhere, running the ball down the ground with grace and style while their opponents stood flat footed, possible to scared to move around on what they were told was a granite like surface. Despite Fremantle's return to form, Geelong gave a pretty good account of themselves for most of the day, managing to stick with the home side. But come the last quarter, Fremantle put the foot down and played for percentage, rolling home 34 point winners.
Fremantle won by 34 points.
