Fremantle have rocketed into flag contention this week with an annihilation of the one time fancied Western Bulldogs, who will be spending most of their time this week dodging the Telazol needle that's sure to be headed their way. The Dockers took an early lead and looked the best of good things in the first half, delighting the fans with an action packed game style, moving the ball freely and kicking goals with style. Then they kicked on in the third quarter with a 6 goal performance before everyone agreed the game was over and they were all a bit too wet to be buggered to play the game for the full two hours. Nat Fyfe played so well that he's expected to be spend the rest of the weeking shopping for curtain material to get his Brownlow tux made, while Michael Walters sang in front of goals, kicking 5 - each more spectacular than the last. Next week the Dockers take on ...errrg.. the top of the table West Coast Eagles in what is expected to be a repeat of tonight.
Fremantle won by 54 points.
