Fremantle took all the things they did wrong against the Eagles last week and spent the week concentrating on doing those things all around the ground. It was a master class of buggering around with the football and having no idea how to move the ball from one place to another place before the entire opposition got in front of the ball. The Hawks got out to a 4 goal lead before the Freo players even looked like they'd been introduced to each other. Fremantle eventually made their move, kicking 3 goals before half time and then spreading them out amongst a mixture of free kicks and lucky bounces before the Hawks blew them away the in the final quarter to win by 52 points.
