Matthew Pavlich has declared that if the midfielders can’t be arsed kicking him the footy then he might as well stay home; or to put it another, more diplomatic way, he has injured his achilles. Replacing Pavlich was a no brainer, as in, they bloke they’ve replace him has been accused of not having one. Zac Dawson is back after two weeks to contemplate his decision to elbow Jeremy Cameron in the face (he has considered it and decided it was well worth the trouble). Luke McPharlin is also back, after he sat out the derby with a serious injury to, depending on you you ask, the leg area. Connor Blakely, Zac Clarke, Ed Langdon have all been added on the bench and will have to wait and see which of the senior players decides they’ve got a serious one week injury before finding out if they get a game.
