It took the Fremantle players a while to shake off the effects of 8 seasons of Ross Lyon, not to mention Nat Fyfe waking them up every twenty minutes to ask if they wanted to buy any of his N7 branded Hand Sanitiser...N7: When you want to have the cleanest hands in the competition… but they finally clicked with the Justin Longmuir style late in the game, remembering how to tackle and kick and generally play in a style you could classify as 'football'. Sam Sturt was the standout for the match, with a sensational last quarter, kicking 3 goals in his debut. Freo couldn't quite pull off the full JLo though, missing an opportunity to win the game after the siren, but getting very close. There's always next week thou...arrr...maybe.
