You know how sometimes you put a weird foreign sport on the tv and think 'How could anybody like this sport?' You know, sports like rugby or soccer. There were hardcore AFL veterans tuning in to the Freo V Adelaide game thinking the exact same thing. It was a terrible confusion of running in circles and bumping into things, with Fremantle kicking the ball out of bounds on the full more times than they kicked a goal. But very little of that matters because there were some terrible umpiring decisions in the last quarter, so we were robbed. Robbed! It was a disgrace. Typical of the AFL, always with the cheating and so on… Adelaide won by 17 points.
