Fremantle line up for their eighth win in a row this week after making a mockery of the term ‘competition’ in the opening 7 rounds. It’s hard to imagine that a team that has been so dominant this year could get better but the Dockers have to make way for a bloke who goes by the name All Australian Luke McPharlin, or just All Australian Luke to his friends. Unfortunately Alex Pearce has had to go out of the side to make way, leaving Fremantle with just two Pearces which is the bare minimum under the recently revised constitution. The Roos have lost Andrew Swallow because he’s broken something in his hand, presumably a nail.
