Fremantle have laughed off their Round 13 opponents in one of the most humiliating halves of football in the history of the Carlton Football Club. Even the Washington Generals made a show of their matches but Carlton's presence was so little felt that would have more impact shouting abuse at Tom Sheridan from the stands. Fyfe toyed with them, Neale used it as an opportunity to get run in his legs, while Sandilands kept looking at the scoreboard, rubbing his eyes and wondering if his brain was still suffering the effects of the concussion. The young blokes were good once again and, despite putting the queue in the rack after half time, the Dockers managed to kick a very healthy 15 goals, to win by 58.
Fremantle won by 58 points.
