Fremantle have continued to meet their contractual obligation with the AFL to field 22 players for 240 minutes a week and this week some of those minutes were quite good. Most of the time it was just some blokes in purple jumpers standing around next to some blokes in orange jumpers thinking about everything that had gone wrong in their lives to land them in this position but those were broken up with occasional passages of football that were well worth taking the time to watch. Cam McCarthy lit up the forward line with 4 goals, Luke Ryan dominated in defense and Nat Fyfe managed to hold a mark at one point. At the end of the night, Fremantle won by a comfortable 23 points but probably should have won by a margin that would see Rodney Eade looking for work on Monday.
Fremantle won by 23 points.
