Fremantle have made a slower start than expected to the 2017 season, with no wins from their two matches so far, opening up the possibility that the much anticipated trophy they were expecting to bring home could be made of timber and come in handy for cooking a stew. As with all Fremantle teams, injuries haven't been kind so far and this week another two players, Brianna Green and Kim Mickle, had to back their gear up for the year after buggering up their knees. Ebony "The Skull Crusher" Antonio is back into the side though, after sitting out the round two game with a suspension and she'll be joined by Kira Phillips who, without placing too high an expectation on her, should kick more goals on Saturday than most sides have kicked for the season.
