Friday night football comes to Fremantle this week, all the excitement and anticipation, the Friday afternoon jitters, an entire weekend revelling in the victory and watching the rise and fall of the opposition fighting it out for their own 4 points. Those were the days. This year, a Friday night game just means a chance that everyone will have forgotten the result by Monday. Ross Lyon isn't winning anyone over either, with his talk of exposing young players and trying out some new tricks. At least he's gone with some good solid ins though, Michael Barlow is back from chipping a nail and David Mundy's hair has grown enough to give his brain back some protection from would be snipers. Tendai Mzungu is also in the team so let's hope there is also a plan to injure some Geelong players. In a sign that things aren't going well, the club didn't bother to report that Ed Langdon has a hamstring injury. Turns out he does and won't be playing. Darcy Tucker has been given a rest.
