I don't care if this is done behind the scenes or in public and the club cops a fine, but, PLEASE have a crack at the MRP. Steves' - ring Eddie Everywhere and get some tips on standing up for your club. Fyfe's crucifixion and Glass's get out of jail - the double standards and hypocrisy are staggering.

Any sports loving fan with half a brain would be at absolute odds with the penalties dished out in the Fyfe and Glass incidents. Too bad the MRP and AFL arent as intellectually gifted as the average sports fan!

I sent an email to the AFL suggesting those who determined the Glass acts compared to Fyfes bump and head clash justified a lesser penalty were idiots. I don't care if they read the email but I felt much better.

On Glass:
"Based on the video evidence available and a medical report from the Port Adelaide Football Club, the incident was assessed as reckless conduct (two points), low impact (one point) and body contact (one point). "

It didn't look "low impact". It didn't look "body contact". To me it looked medium/high impact, and high contact.

The tribunal are dishonest.

If it was low impact body contact, as the MRP state, then why is that an offence?

Maybe Ross was wrong! the bump isn't gone. Not only is it well and truly alive but jumping into the opposing player is not that bad. Come on Ross, let's get it right and coach the bump.
In all seriousness, what a disgrace. Windgard was taken to hospital after the game in ambulance! MRP - how would that constitute low impact?

Mostly Rediculous Penalties!
The irony is that the MRP itself should actually be reviewed!

Good on you, Nodder - there's nothing wrong with sending an email and letting Central Control what you think of their product. If others did likewise, things might be different.

Glass is a plodder trying to stay in the game but keeps getting caught out of position or late to the contest. He's got form and he'll do more of the same until he gets put out to pasture.

Just watched AFL 360 on Fox. Mark Robinson was having an apoplectic fit with Glass copping the same as Thompson. Tommy Hawkins may be in trouble for whacking Langford-though I hardly blame him.

Perhaps the MRP are thinking laterally.

Maybe having Glass on the field is a greater penalty to the Slime than rubbing him out?
