I could never understand why someone would claim to have a recipe for getting players to play better by telling them to simply 'bugger off'. Credit where credit is due, but I'm not sure anyone at Docker Central did anything for Mikey except tell him to stay away. That's a one-in-a-million shot - 99% of the time the player with such a great left foot would just ask to be traded to the WeePoos (after sorting himself out in his own time).

In my view, after laying out all that dirty underwear on Karl Langdon's table it would be foolish to believe that you've done it before with Mike Walters - even Karl isn't that dumb.

On the other hand, without knowing the facts but assessing the outcome and what Mike Walters has said about Ross Lyon I imagine a lot was done to assist him, and I would think a lot has been done to assist Josh Simpson. I'm not bagging Josh or the club, and hope the situation is worked out amicably.

To clarify, I think the coach said something tonight on Channel Bazil about Steve Rosich not being back from a break. I took it to mean he's coming back shortly from an Easter break.

I guess amongst other things Rosich would have to make a judgement on how (in media terms) it went from inhouse to outhouse.

Good to see Josh will be back in training, and I would expect that all the players and particularly the senior ones will support him in working through managing his footy and family commitments. Can't be easy being a young father and professional footballer.

Hope he keeps his calendar, watch and car keys close by and we see him back in the purple real soon.
