Fremantle head to the birthplace of Gary Ablett this weekend to play against the one time respected Geelong Football Club in what many are calling a fait accompli, based on the humiliation the Fremantle dished out to Geelong in the failed match fixing scandal last September and the Dockers general dominance over the Cats over the past decade or so. Matthew Pavlich’s head has returned to an acceptable level of function in time for him to make the cut but Tendai Muzungu won’t be making the trip after an apparent bike riding accident during last week’s match against Carlton. Garrick Ibbotson’s battle with his body continues and he’s out with a back injury. Hayden Crozier is the default setting in the situation and East Fremantle’s Max Duffy will come in for his debut after a good couple of years in the WAFL.
