Fremantle have shut the gate on Adelaide’s season with a fiery 22 point victory over the South Australian ponces. The Crows threw everything they had at the Dockers, including a few punches before the siren and looked like making it a long, cold night for the Fremantle faithful who’d turned up. That lasted all of 10 minutes before Freo hit their stride, took a lead into the first change, pushed it out to 4 goals by half time and strangled the Crows for the rest of the night to take the four points. Michael Walters put on a bit of a show for the fans in the first quarter but Nat Fyfe broke the awesome metre when he started rolling in the second quarter. Aaron Sandilands didn't kill anyone but appeared to avoid damaging any part of his lower limbs. Which is almost as good.
