Sandilands bulk orders NFL boots from the US to cater for his massive size 18 feet.
The 211cm ruckman could miss the rest of the season, in a major blow to the Dockers, after succumbing to a "turf toe'' injury.
The three-time All-Australian hurt the big toe on his right foot falling awkwardly early in the upset win over Richmond last weekend.
While the same injury cost him nine games last year, Sandilands isn't blaming his imported boots.
"They are NFL boots (but) it's got nothing to do with the boots that's caused it,'' Sandilands said on Perth radio 94.5FM yesterday.
