FREMANTLE skipper Matthew Pavlich has pledged his faith in coach Ross Lyon's besieged game plan and remains confident the Dockers can still play finals this year.
Lyon’s critics have come out firing in the wake of Fremantle’s uninspiring efforts against Hawthorn and West Coast in the past fortnight.
The Eagles held their arch rivals to their lowest ever score at Patersons Stadium in last Sunday’s Western Derby, with the Dockers only entering their forward 50 on a paltry seven occasions during the second half.
The derby loss saw Fremantle (5-4) slip out of the top eight ahead of Saturday’s home clash with Adelaide (7-2), but Pavlich refuses to accept the notion that his embattled team’s season is over.
